Pattern Expand Like In Fasttracker 2

Hi all.

I don’t remember exactly how i did it in Ft2 ,but ft could expand pattern when copying it (If the note standed on the 002, it would moved to 004, the 004 note would be moved to 008). How can i accomplish that in Renoise (other than mannualy with insert/delete)? Thanks alot in advance.

Select the notes.
Open up the paenl on the right by clicking on the A<->E bit (or just press the - key when in the pattern editor).
Click the arrow next to cut/copy/paste.
Click Expand.

unfortunately there is no keybinding for expand / shrink pattern for the keyboard shortcut. i hope one version of 2.x will address this.
