So i was using automations quite a bit lately. Since the automation curves are attached to the pattern itself and not the order or point in the song/sequence, this would be really useful for quickly creating a new pattern without a whole bunch of duplicate data in all the tracks.

Basically an option like “clone” or “make unique” that creates a new pattern - but with ALIASES in all tracks pointing to the existing pattern instead of an actual COPY of them.

Clone sounds like the most logical step. Make Unique is actually what it says, i would not desire ALIASES being duplicated in this mode.
