Pdc/Latency Issues With Ssl Duende Plugins

Hi everyone, i m a new renoise user , love the soft but i have a problem on some projects , it make some clicks , blips and don t play well in syncro as soon as i insert a plugin that have latency (around 8000 sample )and on some other projects it works just fine except sometimes when i bounce to disk i have some clicks at the start of the bounced sound

could you please at least tell us the name and version of the plugin, your operating system and, in case you use MacOs, if the plugin is VST or AU?

i m on win xp sp3 with ssl duende plugins, i have find a workaround, i insert the eq liquidsonic filterate le (it have lot of latency)on the same track then it s working fine and can remove it , the ssl plugs dont make anymore clicks and play in syncro after that.

Could you please let us know which latency the plugin reports to Renoise. To do so, hover the small “?” button in Renoises DSP view for the plugin FX. There you will find a note about the latency.

You could also try to click this “?” button and enabled the “static buffers” option for those plugins. Maybe they need this to work properly…

Is this a Renoise 2.5 related problem of its this a Renoise 2.1 project? Would be great if you could also give us some more details about why this only happens in some projects and not in others. The SSL Duende Plugins seem to be available with the DSP hardware only, so we can not test this here.

i m on renoise 2.5, i didn t know about the “?” button, sorry to make loose your time , it s fixed now ! thanks

It was the “static buffers” option which helped?

Would be great if you could send me your Renoise log file (in Renoise -> Help -> “Show Log File…”) then (taktik renoise com).

I will then enable this option by default for all affected plugins.

i have the duende firewire dsp to use these plugins ,i think auto suspend was the problem ,i ll report when i m sure ,don t have the time to check now , but it seems there is no more crackels and bounce to disk are perfect now when it s unchecked :)
