Phrase offset multiplier in keymap mode

The idea is dead simple and is illustrated by the attached screenshot. Currently, when a phrase is played in keymap mode, there’s no way to change line offset.

Adding an offset multiplier, on the other hand, has a lot of awesome uses, e.g. you can divide a phrase more precisely when cutting it with an external controller, redividing it when playing live, etc. etc.

Hopefully this is not hard to implement

You mean, so that with a multiplier of 4 it will play lines 0,4,8,12…etc, instead of 0,1,2,3 ?

I like that idea. As you often have limited space in keymap mode, it makes a lot of sense.

Exactly

Hello,

Did this ever get implemented?

I’m really enjoying the offset feature when slicing phrases with a midi controller in Redux. However note per line can be a little much and being able to have a multiplier like this would be amazing to more coarsely divide the phrase. Thank you!

hi @artfwo - where’s the attached image, please?

Must have disappeared when the forum was migrated to Discourse. It very likely had a mocked image of a spin button for editing offset multiplier next to the phrase key tracking dropdown.
