I’m demoing the redux vst and I’ve created a phrase, switched to keymap mode - placing it on a key, it plays.
I’ve created a second phrase, placed it no another key: I don’t get any sound despite the orange scroll line running through the second phrase indicating that I’ve set the right midi notes in the DAW (bitwig). Any thoughts?
Might be relevant or not, but when I saw this behaviour I was puzzled until I found out that the Z key was out of range to play that sample, hence no sound. For instance in this case the Q key was playing the sample fine. Adjusting the octave value brought the Z key into the playing range.

I’m guessing the second phrase triggers empty notes, so you should take a look at the samples and see if they are actually triggered while playing the phrase.
Upload the instrument here so we can have a look at it and give you a proper explanation. If it’s too big or you don’t want to share it you could replace the samples with empty ones.

Indeed, sharing the instrument in some form could be a good idea. Phrase triggering is quite flexible, so much nuance can get lost when trying to put it into writing
But my guess would the same as Bellows: you have enabled ‘transpose’ key-tracking for the phrase. This will transpose samples according to the note you trigger with, relative to the phrase basenote. If your sample(s) are not covering the entire range of the keyboard (keyzone) you will hear nothing, silence.
So you can either adjust the samples in the keyzone, adjust the basenote (rightclick the piano in the lower part/use the combo box in the phrase editor) or disable the keytracking altogether (set it to ‘none’).
