Try “4Front Piano Module”. Far from the best sound but it is free and goes easy on your cpu.

there are a few nice free soundfonts around aswell that you can use with sfz.

I think that tascam thing is the best one, they threw it out as a demo for their new sample engine.

you won’t get anything better for free, I am afraid… even the soundfonts I refered to are not as good as this one. a good piano-vst is something like the holy grail of music-making.

The Tascam Piano really sounds pretty neat, especially because it seems to be free :)
