Pixitracker update now exports .xm files

Just discovered that Pixitracker: http://www.warmplace.ru/soft/pixitracker/ now exports to .xm files.

If you haven’t tried Pixitracker, it’s free for the major PC OSes, with a paid product for Android and iOS. I find it’s great for when I need to sketch out an idea quickly ( I have a copy on my Moto Z Droid smart phone) or I just want to mess around without starting Renoise on my laptop.

Now that it exports .xm format, I can work out a tune, export and then import the .xm file to Renoise and tweak to my hearts delight. In my tests so far .xm files are properly formatted and import to Renoise without any issues at all.

If you try Pixitracker and find it useful, please give up a donation to the creator or purchase the Android or iOS version if you can.

Cheers.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with the creator of Pixitracker or warmplace.ru.

bought it few years back, it is fun to sample some sounds with phone, then make a sequences, then tweak recorded samples with renoise, didnt know about that pixi projects can open with renoise.

need to try that out someday, i kinda fiddle with it, but then found nanoloop, and forgot about pixitracker

The author of pixitracker is amazing. He’s written assorted other software for audio/visual fun.

He’s the guy behind SunVox.

If Sunvox only would have 3rd party plugin support… friggin’ shame man…

You just need to sample them.
( It supports .xi files. )

Or if Sunvox itself could become a VST, which would be synchronized with any DAW it was opened in, as with redux.

That would be awesome.

Not a VST, but still amazing:http://warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/jsplay/
