hi, d’you reckon itd be possible to hook up “play current line” to a midiCC or a note or anything like that? this would allow for any outboard gear that sends the CC/note to renoise, to step renoise! that would be beyond ken.
for instance, one could sequence loads of “play current note” commands on a separate sequencer, thus making all kinds of completely wonky tempo procedures possible. itd be completely beyond this world.
MIDI mapping of GUI elements (including PLAY/STOP buttons) has been requested before and would of course rock.
however, it’s nothing to be done for 2.0; beta5 is supposed to be the latest beta, so actually only very tiny features will be added. so I’m moving this thread to the standard suggestion forum.
