How to?
I write “play” in key mapping and any of keyboard functions doesnt work like my target function.
In RN2.8 32 it was by press Numpad Enter and it was play from divided pattern.
Its very useful for me, but play from cursor would be even better.

The standart shortcut for “play from cursor” is shift+space.
You can edit and review all shortcuts at the “preferences > keys” menu (fifth button from above in the preferences, but you already know this, as I reread your post ^_^).
Thx, works. Maybe shift icon wasnt intuitive or “large space” 
I was thinking it was something like “key up” event
