iam new to this
and i wanted to know can i play with this live ?
like ableton or something the same ?
i got a Mpd32 wich i now use for ableton
but my friend told me to download renoise and since iam getting the hang of it
*without trying to brag
i was wondering if there is a way to use it live for playing out and jamming with friends

Renoise wasn’t developed for live use, but many a user does it.
if controllers could mute/unmute track and do some transportation, it would work.
As I just posted in a different thread I mapped the F Keys to mute and unmute when I was trying to work on a live set (F1-F8 leaving F9-F12 to jump to position in pattern.) I found this usable enough.
Or you can use buttons on a controller set to master level or a gainer device and toggle between 0 and whatever value is 0dB.
