I’ve uploaded a bunch of mp3’s featuring loops & ideas of unfinished tracks. The tracks basically consist out of a few samples with maybe a synth on top in Renoise, no automation or other type of mangling yet…but still… I like some of those loops and like to share it with you guys for feedback So blast away…
With regards to “canned plugexpert loops 4”… I admit that I didn’t listen to the whole thing, but every single one of the loops until 1:10 I like very much. Ultra funky stuff!
Do you sample yourself on the guitar and chop it up? Also…how to achieve that bass sound…some dope multisamples or do you play the bass as well (if so, you play it awfully fast. )? Also…what sorts of vstis do you use for the electric pianoes and rhodes type sounds?

I think its not so much that he makes so much but that so much of it is quality. I mean, I churn out some little pile of crap almost every night but its mostly unlistenable, and a good proportion unworkable, some of it possibly utter garbage
I like the way you release all the stuff you didnt finish mr expert, its like a whole albums worth of sounds crammed into a few minutes

edit: oh yes, I really like how you’ve progressed with the sounds I pointed out as liking in the last set of canned ones (bout 1:18 in the loop ideas one)

Again lot’s of nice ideas. The second mp3 reminds of some merck records stuff. I also like the global goon mix, i have the cd here somewhere lying around.

most of the samples in those lill funk loops are from disco records. I cut the bass / guitar & rhodes/synth samples up in wavelab & programmed the kits in renoise. So , no…I don’t play an instrument, other then renoise off course! wish I could play the bass.

actually those samples, snipbits, loops are pretty old and made during the coarse of 2005. I recently got internet at home and so been able to upload them. School is eating up all my time, and hopefully I can finish some tracks this summer vacation and send out a proper demo.
To make ideas in renoise isn’t a problem, to actually finish a track in it I find hard. there are so many options / choices to be made, that sometimes I lose track (no pun intended) of the larger overview.
