Plugin Api?

Is there a plugin API for Renoise? … I know you can of course just write VST/VSTi plugins and use those, but … if possible, I’d like to donate a couple of effects that might be included as internal effects?

My reverb effect, for one - some of you might know it as mpReverb for MadTracker2 … a matter of taste, I suppose, but I find that the internal reverb effect in Renoise doesn’t sound that great.

(speaking of MT2, the file format specs are available - any plans to add an import feature?)

Plugin API has been discussed and there is a shared project between Sk@le, MadTracker and ReNoise to create a joint tracker API.

The release date of this API is not set but don’t expect it in less than one year.

A tracker plugin API is under construction, together with many other current trackerdevelopers. The progress is a bit slow, but we’re getting slowly to an end. When it’s finished, nobody knows
