I was always under the impression the the volume field ( indicated by red square ) was post filter but it is not .
It’s pre filter , increasing the volume will automatically increase the amount of waveshaping .(screenshot 2 )
The only way to have a post volume is to make a dedicated fx lane or use the mixer .

It was meant as a suggestion for adding a dedicated post filter volume fader , which we don’t have .

id like to see this as default too. or switchable in options maybe
id go further and say it would make sense to have it post fx lanes. in the same way adjusting it pre distortion or waveshaping fx changes the tone not just the volume. it dont seem right to me!
