Whenever I press the spacebar or the play button in the transport menu, instead of the currently selected pattern being played, the prior one is; ie if I’m on pattern 4 and hit play or space, pattern 3 starts playing unless I have the current pattern repeat option enabled in the transport menu. The behavior is identical if I just press the play button by the pattern I want to play in the pattern sequence matrix (pressing the play button on pattern 4 plays pattern 3).
I imagine that I must’ve just hit some keybind or enabled some option to do this by accident because I can’t imagine this being normal behavior. Either way I can’t figure out how to disable this so any help is greatly appreciated.
Nope, the issue stays exactly the same with the only difference being it doesn’t switch to the playing pattern. For example, if I’m on pattern 4 and press space, pattern 3 starts playing but visually I’m looking at pattern 4.
Maybe your system got messed up if it’s generally happening in every song. Even on Windows some weird stuff can happen sometimes, even if you’re running Renoise in default settings. Uninstalling and reinstalling Renoise always helps.
