is it any possibility to open a renoise project with older version of renoise??
we got like teamwork on a project LOL
i use 2.6 demo, my mate use 2.5.1 and he cant open a project saved with 2.6
maybe some settings can be changed to solve that problem, or its impossible?
You must work with the version that your friend use. No chance …

If you don’t use 2.6 specific features you can theoretically hack the XRNS file to open on 2.5 (modify the XML file to set the file format version tag to lower number), but this may cause unexpected behavior.
