Protoplug into Renoise as Renoise DSP device

The protoplug is so silly easy to use and it seems to calculate quite fast! The plugin from Pierre is already awesome,but this directly as a Renoise LUA DSP device would be the very best. Imagine all the dsps from the community then.

Hm, that’s true :slight_smile:

But the Renoise devs could integrate the editor using the already available editor, with some editing features, etc. And maybe it could be part of the dsp system… But of course the protoplug is already very good.

Yeah would be amazing.

@gova: Simply better integration into the renoise environment and workflow.

Yeah, if it was integrated, things like generating meta data for other devices would be possible! So interacting audio data with lua meta device data. For example a env follower that generates a meta signal and so on…
