Quikquak Pitchwheel Vst Plugin Editor Causes Heavy Cpu Load

QuikQuak Pitchwheel causes heavy CPU load (33% on a 4x3Ghz Q6600) with opened Window.
i made two screenshots which shows that behaviour

sys:
wxp sp2
intel q6600 @ 4x3 ghz 4gb ram ati 4850

tested in
renoise 2.8.0.b3
renoise 2.8.0.b6
pitchwheel is opened, no audioprocessing at all, beats down the CPU

immediately after closing this window renoise behaves normal. no CPU load

It does so in other hosts (i.e. Live) too. Please report this to the plugin devs. If there’s something we can do to prevent this, they should/will contact us.

but this happens NOT in renoise 2.1 , NOT in 2.5, it started to behave like this since 2.6.
so you may know what new routine in renoise, invented in 2.6 cause this ?

edit:
tested in wavelab6 and vegas7: no cpu load with that plugin opened.
