Receiving notes event from an external synth, even when no MIDI instrument created

Hi !
I currently have a problem with all my Renoise project, when I’m on an instrument in the instrument browser (so pretty much anytime), it autoplays the sample for a few millisecs and loops.
It does that to all my project so probably an option I activated without realizing with a failed shortcut, anyone knows how to disable this ?

I can’t really do anything since I must select no instrument if I want nothing to play.
I’m still looking for a resolution myself, if I find the answer I’ll post it here but no idea what happens right now

EDIT: it seems to come from the midi clock, when I select an out device it does that, otherwise it does nothing
EDIT2: first edit was false, even with no midi clock it does it

EDIT3: seems related to my TB-03. If I deactivate the MIDI IN Device, it fixes it, is there an option to change this ?
It’s like it sends note to the samples, whereas just 10 min ago it wasn’t

I’m not sure, but are you actually receiving MIDI note events?
In other words, is something like the TB-03 sequencer or pattern playback running?

Ok so this is it, my TB now acts as a MIDI Keyboard (probably because it is set as MIDI In Device B, because I record CC automations sometimes).
What I don’t understand, is like, for days until just now, it worked correctly, now it’s like sending notes event, but not only when selecting the instrument.

Maybe I didn’t change anything and I didn’t realize since I enabled MIDI CC because I was on empty track at that point. I guess I’ll enable MIDI IN only when I need to record automations, and be sure to stay on an empty instrument (or my MIDI instrument)

Was still writting this when I saw your answer @tkna , yes it is sending note events, but like 1 hour ago, and the days before it was also, and didn’t do this. Guess it did, but I wasn’t on a “playable” instrument and I didn’t realize!

Joys of hardware I guess haha
