For now I use MIDI routing to control plugins or Renoise instrument with MIDI sequencers.
But it would be cool if we can record MIDI output from MIDI plugins generators (opensource Stochas from Surge Team for example, which is fun to play with, give it a shot) into patterns or phrases.
