record when in mixer view

I asked this a couple of years ago , so will try again .

It’s nice to jam and play / record without actually seeing the pattern editor .

Recording when mixer view is enabled / note delay etc…it’s as close as a hardware seq.experience we can get

I mean , it does record slider / automation data , so why no note data ?

I believe a detachable mixer is a more popular request. With such a feature you could just leave the mixer-window “in front” while recording.
