Hello there, I’m brand new to renoise and the community. I have to start by saying that I think renoise is one of the most inspiring sequencers to come along since Live. I’m just wondering exactly how bouncing to .wav works when using external instruments piped through the linein effect. I can’t test this because I’m not yet registered. In other words, do I record my audio from the line in as a sample or does it get rendered when I bounce to an audio file?

For now you have to record the line-in and add it to a track before bouncing.
Being able to bounce the Line-in directly in some form is on the todo-list and will for sure become reality sooner or later.
