Recording What You Hear Into Sample Editor (Not Render As Sample)

Is it at all possible to record what we are hearing exactly to the sample editor (not rendering as sample but recording as we tweak in real time DSPs, instruments, controls, etc.)

In this way you can creatively do some amazing stuff by changing LPB, tempo, extreme DSP settings, etc. It would be really good if we could record in real time to the sample editor whatever we are hearing at output.

I’m new to Renoise so I don’t know if it can be possible. But what I know is that you can Rewire Renoise to Reaper and save the audio output there.

No, not yet.

Some ideas in here:

Actually i solved this problem with a routing in my E-mu 1212m audiocard Mixer…

I routed all the audio out into a channel and now i can see it in the list of sources of Sample editor recorder

Ah I actually already own IL Edison and TapeIt, didn’t think to use these as I’ve been with Ableton for a few years and have been using resampler channels in there. Makes sense I should have thought of this.
