Redux Question about MIDI import

I’m new here.
I’ve been considering buying the Redux plug-in. I’ve downloaded the demo version to try.
There doesn’t appear to be a way to import raw MIDI data. Even drag and drop doesn’t seem to work. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to import MIDI. It would be a lot easier to transfer songs I’ve already started if I didn’t have to start over and input note by note.I would like to know the answer before I buy because it’s an important feature to me.

Import MIDI files directly into Renoise’s standard track grid. From there, copy the grid content and paste it into Redux. The copied data will be in XML format, which Redux’s phrase grid can accept.
