Brief Description: Oftentimes, when loading another song, when it gets to ‘Releasing the old song…’ it hangs, and the program has to be shutdown through windows (‘this app is not responding, close?’ ‘Yes’).
Steps to reproduce: After working for awhile, and saving a song, go to load another song.
Expected results: That the song will load normally.
Actual results: Renoise 'hangs on ‘Releasing the old song…’
Since recently migrating from Renoise 3.1 (got a new 64-bit machine), moved VSTIs/VSTs to new installation. Many plug-ins are 32-bit
Also, when this hangup happens, more often than not the ‘load recently saved song’ list is not up to date. When reloading Renoise to begin again, several loaded and saved songs from the previous session are not in the ‘recently saved song’ list.
The ‘song folder in use now’ is also not remembered, and the same thing with ‘favorite’ VST/DSPs added in the previous (hanging) session.
I have a log if you want me to email it.
It’s kind of a minor inconvenience, but it would be great to know if you can spot something being amiss.

Thanks
It happened again, and upon reloading I took at look at the log. Prior to the ‘banner’ for the new session, this appears to be the end of the previous session:
It appears to be hanging each time on the TB_Compressor (toneboosters compressor). This happens when the compressor is ‘visitied’ during a session. If the compressor is not ‘visited’/adjusted (clicked on and adjusted) during a song edit session, then it seems like it releases and loads just fine. I will have to do some more tests.
