Could we please have an option where I set one directory for every rendering ? Kinda gets on my nerves renoise renders to the song dir, I would like to render it to one specific dir all the time. (the reason is that I organized my rns-files in about 6 different folders)
I agree! I curse and swear everytime I want to render a track as well, always having to change folder.

It would (also) be nice if Renoise just rembered the last render location.
I wouldn’t mind this either.
As usual, there’s a lot of things more important, but I guess this would be easy to implement. I think I favour Renoise remembering last render location.

Found that out just some seconds ago :
when you click on a dir in the diskbrowser (while having the song button selected) the render options shows the dir you selected as target. Thats actually enough comfort for me. 
Hmm, doesn’t work for me. Maybe that’s new in 1.5.1? I’m still using 1.5

Yes please. Just remembering the directory last rendered it should do it (I have a C:AudioMixdowns dir).
