It was possible in Fasttracker! Using the “render to wav” feature you could select the offset and number of patterns to render, very useful if you want to produce a quick loop…

There are some problems regarding automation, delays etc. See here for an earlier discussion.

Thanks johan. Actually this post should never have been, because I tried searching the forum for the word “render” to look for previous threads. I think I must have misspelled something.

No worries :) I’ve found that I often forget to change the date when searching (detault is last 30 days)… maybe this was the problem?
