⮚ Renoise 3.2.4 and Redux 1.1.4 released (fixing blank window issue with OSX Big Sur)

… the builds are tagged as betas in the Backstage at https://backstage.renoise.com but will be released as they are as final versions.

Registered users can download the new release at https://backstage.renoise.com
Demo versions are available at https://www.renoise.com/download

This update only fixes compatibility issues with OSX Big Sur. There’s no need to update on Windows and Linux.

The “missing” Renoise 3.2.3 release never was released, as it only contained a fix for a ASIO driver issue in Renoise which didn’t affect many users. Sorry for the confusion.

We actually didn’t planed to release yet another bug fix release, but wanted to go ahead with Renoise 3.3, which still in the making and to be announced soon

awesome news

On a side-note, I don’t think I’m ever going to “upgrade” to Big Sur: https://sneak.berlin/20201112/your-computer-isnt-yours/

I can confirm the blank window issue is resolved for me on Big Sur.

Likewise, works for me, too. I’m now on Big Sur 11.0.1. No issues with plugins or tools, either - everything thus far looks exactly as it should.
Happy for the quick fix, happy to hear that 3.3 is still coming!

Awesome !

3.3! Does this mean that we will soon get Bitwig with Tracker Interface?

Hello, I still found the bug (still on macOS 10) that makes gui really slow.
Someone shared a solution for this that is -

SET YOUR DISPLAY PROFILE TO GENERIC RGB PROFILE !!!

then it’s superfast and smooth (even more vivid with beautiful themes I’ve found on forum - imho a few of them definitely deserve to be implemented in future release, thanks to all contributors!).
However such a workaround keeps me back from renoise :sob: cause working as a graphic designer I would need to switch back and there every time…

I’m eager to see news about upcoming release and if devs will please us with awesome Christmas gift or just will make the new year much better (in both of cases)!!!

Thank you very much!

Jesus. Could you imagine the grid in bitwig with the renoise tracker?! It would be insane.

Or bitwig with a tracker editor! That would be insane, and Taktik being one of the GUI developers.
