dafuk? That is all.
AI just straight up stealing brands now huh?
Dastardly.
Yeah, we’ve seen that too. That’s pretty confusing: Same name, completely different product. Being mixed up with an AI-generation product definitely isn’t something that we want. Not sure why they have chosen a rather well established name for their new product. It’s not good for them either.
I’ve reached out to them directly to sort out the confusion, and ideally getting the two brands to stay in their own lanes. Haven’t heard back yet. We’ll see where it goes.
Yeah there was no doubt in my mind that this was the situation. Just kinda wanted to get the discussion going around it. I hope this doesn’t create any real problems for the renoise team ![]()
Their accent color and logo are both reminiscent of Renoise as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some sort of farm churning out these kinds of sites automatically, using brand recognition as bait.
Something tell’s me they won’t respond. You could suggest to them though to rename their “service” to Reslop instead, it would be more fitting. I already have an idea for the perfect logo for them.
Seriously though, legally (and depending on each country’s legislation) if the object of the operation/service is similar (eg. computer software) the Renoise team could have a good legal base, if the Renoise name/logo is registered and copyrighted.
The whole design template looks like Renoise 1.5, even the colors and the italic font…
I think they will close soon by themselves because their pricing is so extreme comparing to other “ai video services”. It looks like someone created the whole site with claude …
Definitely looks like some farming nonsense. I happened to see this trash doing a google search.
The disrespect is crazy work
