Renoise crashed aound 11:49 , windows log shows that cytomic the drop is the culprit , renoie log file doesn’t show anything .
Seems like a direct plugin issue. This has also happened to me with some free instrument plugins. When this happens I uninstall the plugin and problem solved.
Perhaps Renoise should be shielded against these types of cases to be robust and stable against VST failures.
Another random hang I’ve had with Renoise is changing its GUI scaling. For some strange reason, without using tools, it fails and returns no history of the problem. It just breaks. If I restart Renoise and don’t touch anything on the windows and change the GUI scaling again, it happens again. To solve it, I move the frames of the surfaces of the main window, (like changing the height of the top panel and things like that) and that solves the problem and I can change the scaling again in the same session. I know it’s unrelated to your case, but it’s another severe breakage case. Never during the composition of any project we should change the scaling of the GUI, because it is not 100% stable for some reason in the Renoise v3.4.2 (I use Windows 11).

I really don’t know if this always works correctly. In either case it should return an error history.
