i keep having this, and another font being downloaded on macOS - every once in a while for no apparent reason. it might be a dialog i open, etc. but why is this continually happening?
Renoise does not actively prompt to download fonts. However, macOS does if that font is available but not installed, which is necessary to display file names containing characters that the default Renoise font cannot display.
Once you have clicked on ‘Download’, you should never see that message again.
thing is, i keep seeing it.
i don’t see it every day, but i do see it, for both fonts. next time i see it, i’ll post a screenshot.
i’m not sure why Renoise thinks these two fonts are “not there”, and wants to download them, just as i want to do stuff with dialogs.

i’m a bit worried about this being an 0day, in macos. macos being as completely shit as it is, i kind of expect it.
the fact of this font being labeled HEI, is making me think some it’s a greeting by the seriously fucked kind of alien devil, fucking with our systems via magic. which means it’s literally coming in from nowhere aka 0.0.0.0 or what i’ve found to be the space where they watch us from called ‘the backstage’.

i deal with heavy dementia most days, but I vcsan also negate it sometimes via strong negation. with what has gone on in the world, i feel like strong negation of alll weird shit needs to take place.
all that is nonsense tho.
last time, i just gave in and downloaded it, and also right now and before this, my sound routing, isn’t being saved, like the stupid security stuff is getting in the way of the font sticking around. this being macos, it’s perfectly logical to me, at least.

I think that there is a problem of filesystem permission on a folder…No wrrte permission without ‘SU’

What you actually want is to set “Watching” at the bottom of a thread to get notified of any replies (it’s a dropdown that typically has “
Normal” on it by default).
