Renoise Linux 32-Bit Raspberry Pi Not Opening after Install

Hello,
I have installed the renoise 32-bit version for raspberry pi. I’m on a pi 2 B (is this the issue? is there a minimum requirement?).

I’ve installed ‘successfully’ but when I open by clicking the icon within the Audio & Video drop down renoise never opens. I right clicked for more info and it reads as zero bytes???

Any suggestions?

Can you start it from the terminal? I guess there’s some Linux running?

Thanks. So I ran ‘open /usr/share/applications/renoise.desktop’ in terminal, still nothing ever opens. When I navigate to the applications folder outside of terminal I double click renoise icon and it says ‘This text file ‘Renoise’ seems to be an executable script.’ It let’s be execute in Terminal, which does the same thing.

I have tried running Renoise on Rpie years ago with no success. I think it was something about Rpie not running a complete linux distro, but a stripped down version. Not sure if something has changed since then.
