Renoise On Indamixx Portable Studio

Hello,
I was having a look at the Indamixx website.
The portable studio would be dope for an amateur like myself, it would save me plenty of space and it would be just perfect with a small midi keyboard.
However I was wondering if Renoise 2.5 would work on it.
Also, what would be the pros and cons of such a combo, would it work nice?
What VST instruments does it support?
For example, would I be able to run something like NI Massive of it from within Renoise?

Has anyone got an Indamixx Portable Studio and can shed some light?

I might consider it a perfect solution in the future…

Indamixx is based on Linux, so the only VST instruments you will be able to run on it are the (very rare) native Linux VST plugins.

for non-VST operations, I think that it should run quite smoothly, although I have no personal experience about it

Hi,

I was tempted also, but didn’t want to go Linux, or wait for 2.5 support, so got a Samsung N110 Win7 + reg 2.5 instead. Plus if indamixx gets groovy looks compat with N110 so I can go to that software/USB at some point if need be.

I’ve been playing about with sample based DnB if you’re interested in what me netbook setup does, for me at least as a bit of a newbie with renoise to be honest while I get back in the groove (got history with OctaMED + others but back to tracking now, phew), http://soundcloud.com/lamptonworm

Cheers,
LW.
