I didn’t find that undo-button in Sample Editor in latest v1.8 beta-version! It woulod be VERY important to have that feature back from 1.5.2!!!??? Or have i missed something and that option is moved elsewhere from sample editor page?
You can use CTRL+Z to undo changes.

in the upper dropdown menu under ‘Edit’ you find ‘undo’ with the corresponding action behind it.
under it a redo, just in case.
this undo undoes all actions made anywhere in renoise.
