Renoise with Tascam US-16x08

Hi,

I’m slowly creeping into modular and would love to route everything into Renoise using multiple channels, for both sampling and live effects. Could anyone say if Tascam US-16x08 would fill the role, and if not, what does it lack? The helpful staff at thomann.de were utter barbarians and had no experience in Renoise.

for modular is a motu soundcard a better choice, because they are dc coupled.
i don’t know the tascam but got never problems with soundcards (my old motu828mkII) in renoise
