I think it would be a very helpful addition to the EQ5/EQ10 module, if the was a switch with options HP12/24/48 for the lowest band andLP12/24/48 for the highest band.

Lately deeply tested the ableton eq8 - wow that Eq sounds so amazing warm, and it has the lp/hp option which is for me essential for good mixing. Also a lp/hp is advanced over usage with band pass filter + eq5, since you can later fine tuning the edges independently. A steep curve for the lp/hp would be of course great… And if you are willing to enhance the eq5, why not adding a gain directly to it, since bandwidth limiting always will result in power loss… Of course I can nice results with Bp filter+eq5+gain, since the renoise butter worth and eq sound also very beautiful… Only it not very practical to fiddle around with three devices all the time.
