Here is short gif - it’s about third “drive” parameter. When double-clicked it resets to default value, but the value displayed (below the knob), is showing some strange values?
i’ve uploaded the doofer preset - it includes new airwindows channel9 + 2 purest gains. (free plugins from airwindows)
I can confirm that this happens with more VST plugins, and this also happens with native devices. It seems like a general issue.
I think 2 things happen:
Each wheel does not correctly restore the intermediate value (equivalent to 50% of the value), when the user double-clicks.
But also, I think this shouldn’t work like this (always set 50%). Each routed wheel should detect the default value of each device parameter. Each doofer wheel ignores this completely and always sets 50%.
A concrete case. If a parameter of a VST effect device has:
minimum value = 100 Hz
maximum value = 1100 Hz
default value = 800 Hz (double click from the original device)
The routed doofer wheel will default to 500Hz (half the range), which seems incongruous. It should return 800 Hz! And so with all the parameters.
