2 x FM single cycle waveforms experimentation
First one provides body and the second gives a touch of harmonic content to mimic the tine.
There’s a little PM to give bite to the front end - try playing with the decay or pitch amount with a velocity tracker.

Don’t know if Paurini still has the original file.
But from the description, it sounds not too far away from the one I did for the Renoise blog
