I’m currently taking a break from Renoise, until I get a new computer. My old one always seem to balance on the edge, and with the update a while ago it seemed to tip things over introducing lag and hickups to the MIDI output.
So instead I’ve been focusing on my “small” setup, well small enough to lug around the public transport system. I’m about to buy a new laptop soon tho, get back to Renoise and re-assemble my main setup in the new apartment. But now I’m sequencing with Genome on an iPad3, works better than I expected. Just signed up for beta testing ModStep and it looks even nicer.
In the video I’m improvising around a handful of simple sequences. Using feedback loops and other tricks to add some more mayhem.
