hi!
im trying to obtain sidechaining trough using ozone. opposite to the default renoise compressors, its visibly possible to send a signal inside.
but i dont how i can do that since theres nothing on the vst tab on renoise itself, everything is done trough the ‘external editor’ (VST separate window)…does anyone have a workaround?

you can’t send a track into another one as far as i know in renoise. so if you want sidechain you got to use the envellope follower you can then assign it to threshold of your compressor. you can also assign this env fol to a gainer for a better sounding kind off sidechain. (sidechain deals with dynamic when gainer deals with volume so it doesn’t sound the same in the end)
Senderella as a third party solution would work, though be sure to send the signal from left to right and not otherwise else the signal is processed in the opposite order in the time-line.
i wasnt aware of those two softs (i still use renoise 2.5)…maybe this will convince me to renew my license!
im still looking for sidechain workaround, if someone has another way to do it!!
edit : i wasnt aware of it, but i was allowed to dld the latest version…i purcased renoise 2.0 and tought i was ok until 2.5, not further.
gonna try this enveloppe follower right now!!
1.0 whole release cycle. You are good until and including 3.0!
give a try to the env follower and the nu matrix : they will both change your life (or at least the way you make music)
