Runtime Error On Exit - Caused By Absynth 2.0?

I’m having a strange issue with Renoise after exiting the program. But this only happens if I have loaded a specific song. When I exit Renoise a box with the the following text appears:

I’m running Windows XP SP3.
The VST/effects used: Absynth 2.0, Boomstick Bass 1.0, Addictive Drums 1.0, Virtual Electric Guitar 1.0, Slayer2_FX 2.5.4, Supaphaser 3.0, Ozone 3.0.105D.

This error appears only when I have loaded a specific song, and it doesn’t matter if I load other songs after. Once it has been loaded in a session, I get the error when I exit Renoise.

I’ve tried to load the VST/effects by themselves, but I cannot recreate the error. Also this error did not appear in the Release Candidate.

There is more info in the .log.txt , maybe?

Check in Renoise in the ‘help’ tab, than ‘show the log file’ and post it contents here or send it to the devs.

I thought so too, but the log hasn’t recorded anything other than I’ve loaded the song in question.

Anyways; Here’s the last entry in the log:

Quite likely that some of the VSTs causes this. I had similar problems with Absynth 2.0 in every host, which tends to crash when loaded several times… This does not happen with newer versions on Absynth.

The only thing you can do here is avoid using Absynth 2.0. Or restarting Renoise after having used it.
