Renoise doesn’t remember zoom, cursor position and selection, if I switch to another instrument/sample and back. IMHO it should. Right now, it can be pretty annoying when doing certain tasks, e.g. copy&paste parts of long samples to new slots, or just quickly checking-out another sample, while working in the middle of currently selected one…

I noticed that as well. REALLY annoying when copy/pasting chunks out of a longer sample into new samples.
