Sample processing using CDP tool slower in 3.5.2 compared to earlier versions?

I was using some basic CDP tool processes (distort multiply & distort average) on a relatively short sample (1 bar breakbeat loop) and noticed the processing of the sample took a lot longer then it used to. Did something change under the hood regarding sample buffer processing through external apps in 3.5.2 compared to earlier (alpha/beta) versions?

Due to lua jit it felt faster a while ago, but now it is sluggish?

For what it is worth, I have the undo box in the sample editor turned off and have been A/B’íng disabling and enabling, tools to see if that could make a difference, but haven’t yet been able to find an issue.

The tool still works, but just feels a lot slower getting a processed sample in the sample editor? Can anyone confirm on their computer it runs slower now?

edit;

Found the issue, somehow Renoise wasn’t running with administrator rights anymore. Right mouseclicking the Renoise icon & enabling it in the compatibility tab fixed the problem. Now it runs fast again.
