Sample Recorder Suggestions

I have two simple suggestions for the Sample Recorder dialog:

  1. An additional option for “sync start & stop”: sync to beat (and maybe to line), so that recording starts on the next beat (or line). This would make it easy to record a sample synced to the song without the need to wait for the next pattern to play. This would be especially cool combined with something like this.

  2. An additional option to create a new sample within the same instrument on each take. I’d find this more useful than the “create a new instrument on each take” option (though that option should also be available, of course).

what about an actual command that (de)activates the recorder ?
