Scalable Upper Frame Of The Interface

(Sorry if it’s been already suggested)

I don’t know how the GUI is constructed, but it’d be mighty useful to be able to vertically stretch the upper frame of the interface.
First and foremost, it’d provide for easier file browsing, and also easier instrument/sample list management, and I really think that the short filebrowser is the single least user-friendly part of Renoise.

I understand that the scopes and spectrum would also have to be stretchable vertically then, but since that’s already the case horizontally, perhaps that’s not too much of a trouble?
The instrument/sample browser could be scalable horizontally as well, which can also be useful for longer filenames.

This got me thinking of lower frame stretching to, but frankly the only uses I see are for automation and perhaps DSP browsing.

Does all of this make sense to anyone?

the ‘More’ button is there for that. And you can assign this view to any of the presets…

btw check out this easter egg ;)

I really don’t think there’s something wrong with the disk-op. It’s nice.

Yay! \o/
