Scaler 3 works wonderfully in RENOISE.
Keep in mind that they’re still ironing out bugs… but you can do some cool things.

I feel dumb. How do I record midi I am getting from Scaler in Renoise?
I have no luck with midi virtual drivers or simple routing that is being supported in Renoise for some time.

In Scaler 2 I just drag the blue chord blocks directly into a Renoise track but I guess there are other ways to use it.

That is the way I do, In Scaler 3 , I made the same, just drag…
How do you transfer Arrange → Renoise though?
You could try:
- Create your chord progression (patterns) in the bottom panel
- Click a pattern name ie. “PATTERN 1” and click Drag and drag it into Renoise
- Then manually adjust the timing and instrument in Renoise
Remember you can join patterns afterwards, maybe that’s helpful if you use longer patterns.
I don’t know if it’s possible to drag all patterns at once.

I am asking about arranger, where you can create following patterns and so on.
What you’re describing seems too long to me. In the worst case I will use loopback, that should work, although I had no success with this approach yesterday :-D.

I’ve found another way where you drag song or artist chords, in the top panel you can apparently drag a selection around all the chords and drag them straight into Renoise.
Btw. how do you drag them, just moving them inside pattern editor?
Are you on MacOS? It does nothing here.
