A common feature in other IDEs and code editors is a vertical marker positioned at the 80 column mark (or some user-defined amount), which acts as a visual guide for code formatting. I would like to see this added to the script editor in Renoise.

Yep. Everybody likes to work in different ways, so it should of course be customisable. If you didn’t want to see it, you could just set it to a higher value like 160, or 320, etc. Or simply turn it off altogether, whatever works best.
Small bump for this feature request, would use it too.
