I know nothing about scripting but I sort of interested when I set the Config.xml ShowScripting development tolls to true and save the file in Dashcode nothing happens when I start Renoise again. Plus if I open the Config file again the file is back to false.

Ah, you have to edit and save the Config.xml after you close Renoise (or during Renoise isn’t running), since Renoise seems over-write the current status when it’s closing.

So,

  • run Renoise
  • open Config.xml
  • close Renoise
  • then edit and save the Config.xml
    This will work.
