Selection In Sample Editor

i m sure this subject has been treated 100 times but i don t find where! (if yes erase my topic!)

Once you set a selection on your sample, how can you move little bit the start and the end of it?
Does the only way is to select perfectly in one clic? (hard with very long samples when you want to crop a loop of lyrics inside) i know you can set a loop then zooming on the beggenining, select from the start to 0, erase then the same for the end… Can t we do like with soundforge?

Other question: to hear a sample in sample editor from where you want (by mouse clic) or directly to the loop start is it possible? when you have a 5 mn sample it s boring to hear it everytime since the beggining, we can set offset in the pattern editor but it s not very fine with 5mn samples and not as fast!

help me i loose too much time with this! :blink:

ok i found the answer of my second question!! (it s easy: just clic then enter) hehe i was stupid!

when i hit right clic on the sample wav editor a menu appears and when you keep this button down and move, the menu doesn t appears and then it s selection (it can be also my fault because i m really not good with english language!)
