I would like to send MIDI from a VST plugin (a Reaktor Ensemble) to a Renoise instrument. Any idea ?

I use Renoise in Linux Mint and I send the VST generated midi to the native Midi Through port. Then I use the same Midi Through port as the midi input of the other VST. By doing this I can play and also save the midi in generated by the first VST. On MAC you can use native midi virtual port management. On Windows you need a program to generate virtual MIDI ports.
Until Windows 10, the combination of loopMidi and Midi-OX worked for me just fine for many years (actually I’ve been using this setup for MIDI since Windows XP). And then Microslop decided that it was time to mess with everyone’s setup and incorporated MIDI loopback into Windows 11 and SysEx messages broke completely. To be honest I’m still in search for a good enough solution.
If I understand what you are asking correctly, you need your Reaktor instance setup as a serate instrument (in the top right instrument list) and it needs to be above the target instrument in that list. On the plugin tab (as pictured below) for your reaktor instrument, you want to look at the far left under MIDI routing and use the drop down box to select your target instrument as the destination. MIDI from the first instrument should now passthrough to the second instrument you want to receive the MIDI.
