Send program change to vst-effect doesn't work

I use eg M2 -002F and … nothing happens.

Or can Renoise not send program change messages to vst-fx?

You can send MIDI events to VST FX by using a VST FX alias instrument.

Load your VST FX onto a track as usual.

Go to an empty instrument slot, browse to the Plugin tab as if you were loading a synth, then choose a VST FX alias from the top of the plugin list.

You can now insert MIDI commands for that instrument into the pattern editor.
